This Helpline Poster promotes the Child Wise National Child Abuse Prevention Helpline, a toll free number that provides Australians with access to expert advice from trained counsellors and an opportunity to speak up about child abuse. The Poster is suitable for child care centres, schools, sporting clubs, medical facilities etc.

A wide range of people affected by child sexual abuse contact the Helpline, including victims, parents, relatives, teachers, friends, professionals, carers and many others. Many of the callers require information on the indicators of child abuse and what to do, information about issues related to normal child development and assistance on how to talk to children about personal safety.

This research interviewed young people between the ages of 16 and 29 years. The report outlines the needs of these young people who are caught in a web of sex work, drugs, homelessness and violence; dominant themes in the lives of these young people and recommendation for the provision of services. ‘Zero' is the brainchild of Fab Tolli. Whilst dropping his daughter off at day care Fab noticed a pamphlet by Child Wise. As Fab read about child abuse statistics, he knew then he wanted in some way to help spread awareness of Child Wise's campaign. Enlisting the help of Paul Laver they set about putting together a CD using the best unsigned artists together with the intention of running events to promote and raise awareness and funds for the Child Wise Speak Up Campaign.
