Workplace Giving

Workplace or payroll giving is a great way for employees and employers to support Child Wise and help protect children from chills sexual abuse and exploitation. Workplace Giving enables employees to donate money directly via their pre-tax pay on a regular basis, thereby receiving a tax deduction as you give, reducing the administration load on Child Wise. Many employers choose to match employee’s donations, which will improve employee morale and loyalty, and at simultaneously help Child Wise to protect children everywhere.
Workplace giving works in the following ways:
Employees: you can support Child Wise through your company’s Workplace Giving Scheme – provided Child Wise is on your employer’s list of nominated charities. If Child Wise are not on the list, you can ask to nominate Child Wise as your chosen charity.
If you do not have a Workplace Giving Program, Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) or Karma Currency can assist you. All you need to do is select Child Wise as your nominated charity.
Employers: Workplace Giving can be easily managed through your normal payroll system. There are no tax forms to fill out and all employees on the Pay As You Earn tax system may join the program. Further information can be found on the Australian Taxation Office website at http://www.ato.gov.au/content/downloads/n9185-06-04.pdf
