Cybersafety
This half day personal safety program focuses on internet and mobile phone use. It gives practical advice on how to assist children and young people to keep safe online. Topics include cybersafety rules, cyber bullying and safe use on the Internet. The program discusses risk management strategies for instant messaging, social networking, unwanted sexual contact and the growing issue of sexting. It also looks at how to respond to child abuse concerns and who and what to report.
This program is useful for schools, parents, homework clubs and anyone who wants to be kept up to date with these emerging trends.
